Save America? The Republicans need to save themselves from themselves!

The Republicans already made one really stupid move in their “political game of chess”. They let Trump become POTUS. They thought he would be their “pawn in a power play”. But they were WRONG! They couldn't control him!!

Now Trump has set his sights on being the head of Republican Party? WHOA! I'm just going to sit back and watch everybody engage in Kung Fu Fighting! LOL. We'll see if a head will rise or heads will roll. Or both! To quote the immortal words of Donald Trump ... “Let's wait and see.”

I always believed that when God created this world, He intended for any human being to be able choose to live anywhere they wanted to on Planet Earth. It was all good. Mankind, unfortunately, came up with a different plan. It was definitely NOT a better plan. More like a bitter plan.

At any rate, I respect Stevie Wonder's decision to choose Ghana. A person should have the right to choose where they live. But not many in the world are so blessed to be able to freely make that choice. I am also blessed. I made a decision to live in Austin, Texas USA. Lord willing, it's where I will die. #LivingAndDyingInAmerica

Excellent article! Two thumbs up!

I just recently discovered Za'atar. My friends from the Middle East say it's very common in their cuisine.

Here is a fun fact for foodies.

It is said that evidence of flatbreads has been found at ancient sites in Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, and the Indus civilization. Also there are historical records that indicate Persian soldiers baked a flatbread on their shields and covered it cheese and dates.

Baked it on their shields? Now that's genius!

I wonder if it was Akkawi cheese. LOL.

Wonderful article!

Part of the joy of being a newlywed is learning to cook and eat the food that your spouse enjoys. My late husband loved lentil soup. Before I met him, I had never eaten lentils. When I first tasted it, I immediately thought it was missing something. That "something" was dark green leafy vegetables. Kale is the perfect veggie to add to lentils.

P.S. Thank you so much for your contributions to My Foodie Luv. I m sure the readers nd subscribers also appreciate your recipes as much as I do.
