Amazing. A couple of things stood out to me that were humorous when reading this content. One thing was much more serious.

(1) Even in the 1800s the politicians were loaded with B/S and didn't do much to solve a real problem. Or as Pete Buttigieg says: “They don't want to solve the problem. They want to use the problem to get votes.”

(2) It was not taken seriously when women's clothes were ripped off. But let a bunch of soldiers get attacked and … “WE HAVE TO SET A TRAP! THIS IS SERIOUS”.

(3) I'm not OK with the idea of scaring children. The creature could easily show up in a terrified child's nightmares.
