I agree with the comment that AI content should be identified as such. But I wonder if people want to use this tool so that they don't get sued for plagiarism.

I know it's a wild thought. But I thought the same thing about self-driven cars. Since America is a sue-happy nation, who can be sued if a self-driven car crashes into a crowd of people? The manufacturer or the car owner will probably just say “technical difficulties”.

I sometimes think people are happy to embrace AI technology because it removes the human element, and they believe that also removes the burden of accountability or responsibility.

Am I the only one who thinks of AI this way?

P.S. Several years back I do remember reading an article about the “legal rights” of robots. Another thought popped into my head. So now we have to ponder whether or not mechanical devices have rights? (O.o)

That article annoyed me because ... we can't even settle our difference over what human rights are, yet we want to consider the rights of a robot?????????????? (O.o)
