I have always been fascinated by the story of the Man in the Iron Mask. I watched a similar movie a long time ago. I can't remember the name. But this guy was a spy. They covered his face with a mask that would not come off and he went on his mission. I can't remembber the reason why they had to keep his face covered. (Like I said: It was a long timea go and my memory is fading.)

At any rate since this spy was able to complete his mission, they decided to do it again with a different pesron. However, that person died. They asked the doctor why he came out of the surgery room a corpse. The doctor said that the idea of living the rest of his life with his face covered was too much for him.

So! If the Man in the Iron Mask is a true story, all I can say is that if it were me, I'm not sure I would have had the will to live. On top of having a mask, I am also not allowed to talk to anybody!? I would be like: Kill me now OR take this mask off!! LOL.
