I have mixed feelings about space exploration. Part of me says its cool and its good to know as much as we can about the universe. The other part of me says it should be a low priority instead of top priority.

~ By now, we surely know that there is no life on Mars.

~ By now, we know for sure there is life on Earth. So why don't know focus on making our home survive an Apocalypse?

After all, we know that stuff about a colony on Mars is only for elite people like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, etc. It's like their Noah's ark. The only people who will get to live there are The Chosen in their Inner Circle and the people they consider “necessary servants” to do the labor they don't want to do.

I'm sure that is China's End Game for their race for Mars too.
