I used to watch a lot of cooking shows. There was a young lady who cooked Chinese food and she was preparing a dish and remarked: "I know people will probably say this isn't very Chinese but the ingredient I'm adding makes all the difference for this recipe. It's ketchup."

No you say Japanese add it too. I don't know. I'm beginning to think ketchup is very Asian. LOL.
