I watch a lot of Korean drams and evidently suicide is a huge problem in South Korea. There are many movies and series that try to address the matter. One thing I know is that a person doesn't just decide to commit suicide INSTANTLY.

But I also know that many people suffer in silence. Often family and friends do not see it coming. I wish there was a way to at least get those who are hurting to cry out. So many get left behind and live their lives wondering if they could have dome something to prevent it. That thought never leaves them for as long as they live.

It might sound selfish to say this, but if a person is thinking of suicide, they should think about the pain they will cause those they leave behind. They matter but we matter too!
