I watch K-dramas for entertainment but also for education. There was a K-drama was set in South Korea during the 1960s and I picked up on something one of the characters said about the country's economy.

So I did some research (because I like to distinguish fact from fiction) and found out that Korea's economy was actually described as a “miracle”. It said something to the effect that South Korea had achieved results in 35 years whereas it took the British almost double the amount of time to do the same thing.

So if you say the K-Pop industry is “miles ahead” in terms of marketing … I believe it!
