My daughter's name is Raquel. She didn't know about Raquel Welch either. She asked if she was named after. I told her that her dad gave her the name.

He's passed away now so she can't ask. I honestly don't know if he was thinking about Raquel Welch when he decided on her name. I didn't ask because I already knew how much he liked Sophia Loren. That kind of made me jealous. I didn't want another woman to be jealous of. LOL. I was happy with the name for my daughter anyway!
