The Netflix Rhapsody series is intended to trace the origins and evolution of the Korean cuisine that we enjoy today. These are the Netflix documentary programs so far:

  1. Korean Cold Noodle Rhapsody
  2. Korean Fried Chicken Rhapsody
  3. Korean Hanwoo Rhapsody
  4. Korean Jjajangmyeon Rhapsody
  5. Korean Porkbelly Rhapsody

The man who will be taking you on these culinary travels is Baek Jong-won (or Paik Jong-won). He is a chef, a business owner, and a well-known Korean food expert who has hosted several TV cooking shows.

  • FUN FACT: Baek Jong-won made a cameo appearance in “Flex X Cop”.

1) Korean Cold Noodle Rhapsody (2021)

Korean cold noodle, known as naengmyeon (냉면) in Korean, originated from North Korea. The dish consists of long, thin noodles made from wheat or buckwheat flour, served in a chilled broth, then topped with various ingredients.
