OK. I see. I caused the confusion. Let me explain what I meant.

Once upon a time when social media was brand new, my friends and family wanted me to create an account which I did. But no sooner than I had created an account I realized that the platform could be used for my homes business / work-from-home purposes (blogging, article writing, affiliate marketing, etc.) So I created a different account for that type of activity. One account had a network of family and close friends. For my other account, it was new friends that I was making online, business connections, etc.

Trying to keep the 2 accounts separated while doing my other home biz projects was just too much for me. So I reasoned that I didn’t really need the “personal (profile) account”. My other account was public. If family and friends wanted to contact me via that account they could easily message me. I have designated eMail accounts. One for personal and one for my home business efforts. The separated eMail accounts are easy to maintain. But when it came to Facebook, there was really no need for me to keep two accounts. Especially since I was using Facebook mostly for business and work anyway and I didn’t really need to talk with family and friends over Facebook.

Every time I create a business page, I am always asked to verify with my personal Facebook account. Like they want “proof” that a real person is behind the pages. My account (profile) and my pages are active. I was going to convert my profile to a page. But that was too much work too!

Does that clarify?
