Saying that “mostly white males” are mass shooters may be a fact.
But NOT ALL facts are MATERIAL and RELEVANT.
How about these FACTS?
FACT: Evidently, the Constitutional right to bear arms actually means … the right to purchase guns legally at age 18+ (OR if younger your parents or guardians can buy a gun for you) … and then you can go KILL WHOEVER YOU WANT! Including yourself.
And nothing else will be done about it. Oh sure! The politicians will pass laws and tout on the news that they've passed “sweeping gun reform legislation”.
FACT: Sweeping legislation has been passed on the state and federal levels and … mass shootings are still happening!!
(I guess “sweeping” really means “sweeping the problem under the rug”. That’s my opinion but it’s probably very close to being FACT.)
FACT: Each time this heinous CRIMINAL ACT OF GUN VIOLENCE occurs, useless “thoughts and prayers” are offered by our “fearless leaders”, along with “useless excuses”.
USELESS EXCUSE: The shooter was transgender.
~ News media, social media, and politicians NOW have an excuse to refocus their energy and efforts because they need to worry about transgender terrorism. Gotta get to work and make some “new laws” for that!
Even though there are already current laws in effect that can be applied to terrorist acts.
USELESS EXCUSE: The shooter was being treated for mental illness.
~ News media, social media, and politicians CONTINUE to use the excuse that the problem is not GUNS … the problem is mental health. “America has a MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS”, don't you know?
QUESTION: Is America the only country in the world with people being treated (or not treated or mistreated) for mental illness?

Is it that gun violence incidents are not reported in the news in China? -OR- Is it that China does not have a problem with gun violence?
