Thank you so much for responding back. This “present distress” deeply troubles me and I NEED to talk to someone!

“There is no way to avoid getting hurt by what Trump is doing. “

I understand that my example is “simplistic”. I pulled out pork, but it could be anything.

The point I'm really trying to make is that “what Trump is doing” has the potential to hurt US more than the rest of the world.

The United States may be a major player, but I don't believe for one minute that the world can't “play” without US.

Anyway, to use Trump's words: “Let's wait and see”. If he's wrong, WE'RE SCREWED!

This isn't just about dollar and cents trading, reflected by percentages on a chart. It's about relationships between countries and that “value” is very difficult to QUANTIFY. I doubt you can get a formula off of ChatGPT to explain it because it's NOT JUST MATH!

I'm not a foreign relations expert, but I'm pretty sure it's kind of stupid to piss off your Allies. IF Trump's Trade Adviser, Peter Navarro, is giving the president advice to do things like this, THEN for once, I actually agree with Elon Musk who said that Navarro is "dumber than a sack of bricks".

Again I ask: “Do I sound insane?” (O.o)
