Thanks for this article. There is a lot of buzz about ChatGPT and AI. Instead of being happy and excited about the tech trend, I'm befuddled.
I can't tell if it's a good thing or bad. It shouldn't be this way. Technology is supposed to help human beings and make things better! But it has not been that way with this technology.
Frankly, I think the benefits should be obvious for everyone - geek and nongeek - to see and understand. What's the word? "User-friendly". Most tech users are non-geeks and technology should be "friendly" towards them. It's almost s if this was created for "exclusive use".
I'm disappointed. It took great minds to create AI and I know humans can't really create anything that's perfect. But shouldn't innovations and inventions be at least 95% perfect for the good of all mankind?
