The thing with inconsistent application of the rules is that the human can always blame the computer. “Whatever! It’s not my fault! It’s a computer program and that’s just how it works.”

Computer program huh? It’s a convenient excuse. I seem to recall an airplane crash that happened which killed passengers and crew. Computer software was blamed even though humans knew all about it and likely could have prevented the crash from happening.

Twitter deleting an account may or may not be excusable. But no lives were lost.

The bottom line for me is: Who owns the platform? The owner can kick you off the platform the same way an individual can kick an unwelcome visitor out of their house.
