Trying to settle a matter about color by just saying “Pick a color” is clearly not a solution!

I realized that Australia had a problem with racism when I was about to say Happy Independence Day but came across a bunch of angry tweets about the day. So I decided not get involved. We have racism in America but when it comes to our Independence Day, I think the only group that probably doesn't celebrate the 4th of July might be the Native Americans. I'm not sure if they celebrate Thanksgiving Day either.

The thing is racism is should not even exist ANYWHERE! But it does. However, even though its exists, it is also a problem that is easy to solve. JUST DON'T BE RACIST!! It's your choice. Even if your parents raised you that way, when you are grown you make your own decision. Many children have grown up and learned that momma and daddy were wrong about quite a few things.

Ask a child who is “mixed” which side of the family they like or dislike. They probably won't tell you they picked the “likable” relatives based on their skin color.
