As for that $5 monthly subscription? That charge allows me to read as many Medium articles as I want. Without it, I can only read 3 free articles a month. Also, we don't get credit for external views, so why bother sharing. Or t least, we didn't used to get credit. Some writers are now saying we can earn for external views. Either way, I sometimes wonder if I should just discontinue this $5 monthly service myself.
