When I was growing up the first exposure was to Chinese Cinema (Kung Fu theater came on every Saturday). Then it was Japanese (Shogun theater also came on every Saturday). The my husband got into Bollywood (Indian cinema).

One day I found Korean dramas on Netflix: one was a spy movie and the other was a historical period series. It was my first time watching anything Korean and I got hooked!
