When I was in high school, “nostalgia” was the fashion style. Girls were dressing up like the ladies did in the 40s and 50s. We liked the vintage look. I remember one time complimenting one of my classmates on her dress and wanted to know where she bought it. She replied: “Oh I just went in my mom's closet and took out one of her dresses.” To this day when someone mentions “nostalgia”, it brings back nice memories. Yep yep. It affects my psyche.
