When it comes to Paris, I don't need a sales pitch. I would love Paris with or without Disney. I wager that Paris, France is on almost everybody's travel bucket list. In fact I remember watching a TV show where the lady was trying to get over a break-up (or something that made her sad). She took 3 scraps of paper and wrote “a wish” on each piece. Threw the pieces in a hat, shook the hat, and then reached in to pick one. The scrap of paper shew drew out said “Go to Paris for a day”.

A day? Is that even possible? For the record, it is possible. (1 Day in Paris) But no matter. The point is that out of all of the cities in the whole wide world, she picked Paris! What does that tell you?

Sadly, I have only been to Paris by way of books, travel websites, the movies or television and in my dreams.

Although … there was this one time when I was a little girl that … I almost went to Paris.
