Yes. But for this year 2022 my earnings are slightly less. Nevertheless, it does not change the fact that I am still earning not doing anything.
HUBPages use to have a referral feature and you earned when others signed up. But they are under new ownership and have done away with it. Anybody can sign up to become a contributor: newbie or experienced writers. They even have editors who will help you improve your content. They are very particular about the quality of the writing being presented to the public.
They have a general site that covers a wide range of topics and also specific niche sites. The publishing platform is completely different from Medium. If you sign up and get started you will see what I mean.
I am not trying to dissuade you from writing for Medium. I'm just saying there are some very good alternatives out there. You can write for one or the other OR you can publish your content on both. I'm thinking that as long as there is an earnings potential why not stay with both?
Here is my profile link. You will see that it shows I joined 9 years ago and you will notice that my most recent article is about 2 years old. https://hubpages.com/@cmoneyspinner1tf
They have an excellent Google Ad Sense revenue--sharing program. That is how my articles are earning passive income. HP owners share the wealth with the writers. This is the reason I wish that Medium would go ahead and start showing ads. But that's a topic for another discussion.
